The 2010 RAM HD wins Motor Trend’s Truck of the Year by a unanimous vote by the judges. The six key criteria from which the decision was based from are design advancement, engineering excellence, intended function, efficiency, safety and value. The RAM Heavy Duty went up against the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, the Ford Transit Connect and the Toyota Tundra 4.6-liter work truck.

Reasons cited include the fact that the RAM HD made significant improvements in the vehicle’s ride, handling and noise levels, as well as the interior styling, it is offered in a wide range of options and it dominates all its competitors in the heavy duty class when it comes to power, torque, towing, emissions and a lot more.
