Register to stop seeing this ad! There are so many air intake systems for the Nissan Titan available out there. The most popular I think are AEM Brute Force, NISMO and Volant. Which one do you think works best? |

I had a 2005 Titan that installed a cold air intake on and dual exhaust. It helped with the get up and go but it also sucked more fuel. It made since to me after some one said to me ( More air? more fuel!!) Lets face it these trucks run and run but at a price. The best I can get down hill at 60 mph is 17 mpg. and the average is about 14mpg, so you have to way up the options.

That is too bad that the exhaust and intake did not help with your fuel economy. In my years of selling aftermarket performance parts, it seemed it was always a tossup with the gas trucks as to whether or not you would see better fuel economy, but almost a guarantee with the diesel's.

this is the fact when it comes to trucks and SUV were they consume fuel. But manufacturers are tryinh to adjust and nerf this sides so that it will be fuel economy friendly. what we dont get or what others misunderstood is that poor car maintenance and upgrade and also fuel mis use are one of the key reasons why they consume so much fuel.
